Cambie Travels: Essaouira, Morocco

The second featured post from my recent trip to Morocco showcases my short time spent in the coastal port city of Essaouira. A scenic 2 1/2 hour drive from Marrakech, you might catch a goat climbing an olive tree along the way! I enjoyed shopping the most in Essaouira, meeting gracious shop owners offering a nice variety of handmade pieces, never feeling overwhelmed by the size of the medina. The laid back energy, the colourful and historical streets, and as an avid seafood lover, being oceanside with a full belly made it very difficult to leave this delightful city. I hope you enjoy some of photographs I snapped below!
