Where do you source your products?

Cambie textiles are sourced in Peru and Morocco, with many home items available in-store that are made in Canada. Every product we carry is curated by owner Camille Byrne. At Cambie, we believe all makers deserve fair treatment and sustainable wages and always ensure our products are produced and sourced ethically. 

What are Cambie blankets made of?

Our popular blankets are made from a special blend of hand-spun alpaca wool (20%) and acrylic fibres (80%) which, when combined, create a luxuriously soft wool that is durable against wear for frequent use. 

Do you carry 100% alpaca wool blankets?

Due to the extremely delicate nature of alpaca wool, we currently do not carry 100% alpaca wool blankets but are currently testing different natural blends for upcoming textile products to be introduced for sale through Cambie, but only once they have been perfected and worthy of the Cambie seal of approval!

How large are Cambie blankets?

Our Cambie blankets are approximately 72" x 55" in size. 

How do I care for my Cambie blanket?

We suggest dry cleaning and/or hand-washing your Cambie blanket to prevent pulls in the wool and misshaping the blanket.

What are Cambie rugs made of?

Our rugs are made of 100% hand-spun sheep's wool. The wool is dyed using natural dyes when available and each rugs is unique in colour and design. 

How large are Cambie rugs?

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of these handmade textiles, please refer to each product description for an accurate measurement.

How do I care for my Cambie rug?

We suggest dry cleaning your Cambie rug to avoid misshaping and/or colour running. 


Do you wholesale your products?

Sorry! We are currently not expanding our wholesale business. 

Do you accept large or custom orders?

If you are interested in a large or custom order, please contact with your order inquiry and we will let you know if we are able to fulfill your request. 


Why is the cost at checkout different than what is displayed when adding product to my cart?

Cambie Design, a Canadian company, processes all online order checkouts in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Prices shown in US Dollars (USD), British Pounds (GBP) or Euros (EUR) will be automatically and accurately converted to Canadian Dollars (CAD) at online order checkout time using Conversion Rates that are UPDATED HOURLY.

 Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! For shipping details, please review "Online Shipping Policies" below. 

Do you accept gift cards. 

We do accept gift cards, available for purchase and redeemable in-store only. 

Do you accept returns?

All online orders are FINAL SALE. We offer an exchange-only policy for all undamaged and unused goods within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt. In the case of an exchange of an online order, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges from and to the customer's location.

Cambie Design Gift Cards, available for purchase and use only in our physical store located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, may not be redeemed for cash.  Our exchange-only policy for any goods purchased using a Cambie Design Gift Card is also within 14 days from the date purchases are made using the Card . Please note that Cambie Design Gift Cards do not expire! 

When should I order by to ensure my package arrives in time for the holidays?

All online orders are shipped 1-2 business days after your order is placed, and are carefully packaged and sent directly from Cambie Design's Toronto, Ontario, Canada store. Shipping timelines are provided to us as estimates by the shipping companies we utilize.

We do NOT refund or resend lost or undelivered orders. Therefore, we recommend you select a shipping option that offers tracking services for location updates of your shipment before finalizing payment. 
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Customers are responsible to pay for any custom charges, duties or taxes charged to them by their country. Please note that the possibility exists that your order could be delayed in customs.
